Who We Are

A “Multi-Disciplinary Team” (MDT) means that instead of just one doctor managing your care, a whole panel of experts from different medical fields works together to design the best possible treatment plan for you.

Meet the dedicated specialists at ESNEFT who are here to support you.

Our Nursing & Support Team

This is your main point of contact. They coordinate your care, answer your day-to-day questions, and provide a direct link to the rest of the medical team.

Clinical Nurse Specialist for NET Service

I have worked within the Trust for over 2 decades.  I have been employed as the Lead NET CNS at ESNEFT for 5 years. During this time I have developed the NET CNS role to incorporate PRRT treatment. I am very passionate about supporting patients through treatment and long-term follow-up.

Last year I was nominated for The Neuroendocrine Cancer UK Hero awards. It was a privilege to be one of the top three finalists for founding the NET Patient Meeting Group at Colchester.  This would not have been achievable without the support of both the NET Patients and the NET Team who it is an honour to work with.

What they do: Histopathology is the study of cells under a microscope. When a biopsy (a small tissue sample) is taken, Dr. Noatay examines the cells to confirm exactly what type of neuroendocrine tumour it is and determines its “grade,” which tells the team how quickly or slowly it is likely to behave.

    Gastroenterology & Endocrinology

These specialists focus on the digestive system, hormones, and the internal balance of your body, which is highly relevant since many neuroendocrine tumours start in the gut or release hormones.
